laneroseSo... Watching Prince of Tennis and reading some of the manga for it reminded me of just how much fun I used to have playing tennis. Way back a million years ago (or more like ten, which is when I last played regularly, or five, which is when I last played at all), I was really into tennis. Had several issues though - no one to play against, for one, and I recall my mother not being particularly fond of me hitting balls against the garage (oh yeah, I totally got yelled at for that), so I eventually stopped playing.
... So I went looking for my old tennis racquet. All I really discovered is that *wow*, the garage is dustier and has more spiders than I recall, and the stairs to the attic in it are even creepier and wobblier than they used to be. I'm pretty sure the racquet must have gotten thrown out, because I sure as heck couldn't find it.

At which point, I promptly decided it'd be a good idea for me to get a new racquet. XDD In my defense, I'd checked online and found out I could get one for about $20 if I didn't want anything fancy, which I didn't.
Now, I am very very sore. And possibly dehydrated. I'm blaming the dehydration for the fact that I was working on FF7 fic earlier and suddenly thought that Cid/Yuffie would be the greatest pairing EVER!

Yeah. Sanity regained. But Yay! for tennis. ^.^;;;;
