Well, since I'm on break, I finally have time to play the game again. Just now, I finally (it took me till halfway through disc two) managed to get Vincent as a character, and that was really awesome. Imagine my surprise, though, when I discovered an advantage to getting him out late.

... if you go back to Nibelheim and enter the lab part of the basement after the whole thing at Mideel, you'll access a cut scene with Zack!!! ::snuggles Zack:: Admittedly, it was one of those whole "ow" sort of scenes because you kinda sorta accidentally have to deal with Zack's death, but still...!

... and I thought those fics were kidding when they talked about Zack and Cloud being trapped in tanks of Mako. O_o

Still, YAY for Zack! ^.^

I remember hearing about that. It has to be after the lifestream sequence...you don't actually need to get Vin.

I figured it was something like that, but if I hadn't needed (well, wanted) to get him I probably would never have gone back to Nibelheim. ^^;;;;
