I'm so happy right now. I'm Squee worthily happy. Want to know why? Bet you do! It's cause I just discovered that my room mate's language partner is a fan of Japanese stuff such as anime and manga. That would be squee worthy alone. But it gets better. Much better. I found out 'cause she recognized my Deathnote desktop. From there we discovered that she also loved Fruits Basket (I can write Yuki's name in Chinese now, and the pinyin for Kyou, which astonishingly enough is closer to Jyou in pronunciation than Kyou.) and, what's more, adores Kenshin - especially the OVA. Tomorrow she's bringing me another manga that she really enjoys, the name of which we had massive issues getting across, but the long story short is that I get to read new manga tomorrow.
::SQUEEEEEEEE::
It's nice to know that the first Chinese person I've met who likes anime has similar taste to me. And that ShouShiDu has an anime-ish club. (I'm not really clear as to whether it was anime, manga, or both, but that's the bloody language barrier popping up again). Saa, I love you so much right now for teaching me how to say manga in Chinese. It made this conversation a hella lot less confusing!!!! ♥♥♥
... so yeah. I'm not excited or anything. ^_^
