doctor_rose_las. (See link below as I pimp like a pimping thing.) It's a last author standing challenge, which I've never done before. I'm half sure I'll do something impressively embarassing like getting myself knocked out in the first round, but hey, if I do, at least I'll have accomplished finally writing a complete Who fic. ladylore) ~ I know Doctor/Rose isn't your cuppa, but I really like Nine/Rose, and the fic out there talked me into the rest. ^-^;;; Please prove me right on the whole fandom-secrets-was-being-silly-when-they-said-I'd-get-lynched-or-worse-for-picking-a-side thing! ^__^;;;;;;;;; (Incidentally, I love Donna to bits and think the Doc was a right asshat to Martha Jones, who was also fabulous. Since I'm being honest about it.) If nothing else, I'll have deadlines, which are always good at getting me to write something, even if it's not what I intended, which is okay. ^__^;;;;;;;
Also,fifthmus writers? Seriously guys, just - Wow. *_* I feel so inadequate compared to the rest of you, but have been enjoying reading the fic muchly.
Sort of working onsubrosa_tennis.I've got the inklings of an idea, I just need to force them to germinate. I have tomorrow off (I love working for a French company because it means company proscribed rearrangement of hours to allow for extra days off in the summer) and I want to try and get some writing done. Actually, I'm going to say that more definitively. If I haven't posted fic of some sort by this time next week or posted some sort of triumphant yay-subrosa-fic-is-written post, someone please kick me. Seriously.
Had an idea for a horror screenplay. Not a slasher movie (by which I mean blood and guts slashing, not the other kind x_x) but more of a ghost story, only kind of in reverse, and well - point being, could anyone point me towards a standardized format for a screenplay? I've got an idea of how to do it (12 pt. Courier New centered with character name appearing over text and stage directions in parenthesis) but I'd still like to double check / cross reference.

I will agree with you about Donna and Martha, though - I adore Donna and I find the Doctor-Martha dynamic... difficult to stomach(yeah, he was an ass and it sucks to be Martha - jeez even in the 4th season it sucked to be her). I admit, I'm a Rose-hater. Probably completely out of proportion from the logical standpoint, but she just gets on my nerves... Ah, well.
And btw, 5th Doctor icon love! I've not watched much of him but he totally gets love just for the line "Just a twinge of cosmic angst." Yes, srsly, direct quote there ^_^

Date: 2008-08-12 01:26 am (UTC)YAY, No Lynching!!! HUZZAH~~~!!!! (It does suck to be Martha. Not helped by the fact that Freema isn't exactly the greatest actress ever (love Martha, yes, but after that stupid straight to camera wink in 4x13. @_@) but Martha as a character is love.) And hey - no need to be logical about it. Sometimes a character just doesn't click. I didn't really care for her much at first, and to be honest I thought season two both Rose and the Doctor were a little strange. But for a few episodes from, say, Dalek to Parting of the Ways, I liked her.
Fifth Doctor~~ I haven't watched much classic Who at all, really, but I read this really fabulous fic someone linked me to with him in it (you wouldn't like it, it's Rose post Girl in the Fireplace) and fell in love. Plus, he wears celery. XDD Geeky love~~~. And the twinge of cosmic angst is kinda magical. ^_^
