I tried really hard not to get upset about this whole LJ snafu. I stayed mostly out of it until LJ responded. And I wasn't going to get upset.

However, when people are this deliberately rude, I am upset. For anyone who wants a brief summary, someone asked why it wasn't in news. I seconded the request for info, since CA law says that changes in terms of service need to be mentioned to all users. Since then, LJ staff has insulted me and more or less admitted that they are deliberately ignoring the spirit of the law because it makes them look bad. (Well, not because it makes them look bad - I don't actually know why - but the previous part is true.)

And I still want a proper clarification regarding ToS and obscenity, seeing as
