Eagle of the Star – Takes place during Aragorn’s time as Thorongil. It’s beautiful if frequently heart-wrenching, slow to update but always worth the wait, and is, I’m fairly the sure, the fic on this list that I’ve reread the most times. Just why did Aragorn head South, anyways?
