::shrugs:: Not watching cliffhangers before the ending is out would be smart. XDD Meanwhile, I watched the episode as soon as it came out on youtube. XDDD
Do you really think it's going out with a bang? I... am actually pretty sure that I know how this one is going to end already, which makes it more of a whimper for me. Compared to Turn Left, this episode had very few surprises, and dragged out predictable scenes in a predictable manner. Mind you, I still loved it - hard not to, because getting all the characters I love together in one place is always going to be something I think of as fabulous - but I'd almost rather have had the surprise. Russell Davies is great about tying up the loose plot lines he leaves hanging, which is a rare and wonderful skill, but his plot lines showed a little too clearly for me this season. Bad Wolf at the end of Season One, Torchwood in Season Two, the Master in Season Three - those were seriously brilliant. I could remember them when I thought about it, could see where he'd hidden and woven it into the story, but I didn't see any of them coming until they hit. This season, though... well, I don't want to tell you what I'm 95% sure is going to happen now (though I'd be glad to throw it at you if you want) because it's so much less exciting to wait for the next episode sorta knowing what's going to happen.
Mind you, he could stun me, and next week at this time I could be saying, Russell Davies is a genius the likes of which I have never seen before. Definitely possible.
... but right know, I think his plot's showing. ;_;
