I wrote 5k on an orignal idea, nominally for Nanowrimo, before realizing that it just wasn't going to happen. That aside, no fic. :(

In total, I wrote 60 fics in 31 fandoms, for a total wordcount of 45,605 words. O_o Almost a Nano's worth of words. I hadn't realized I'd written that many short fics. I blame Ironman 7. Here, have a new cut for people who just want to see the opinions part.
Opinions on Said Fics:
Favourite: Amputation. Hands down, no questions about it.
The Best: Amputation again. Which makes sense, since part of the reason it's my favourite is that it's probably the best thing I've ever written. At least, in my opinion, anyway.
Most Underappreciated by the Universe: Stowaway. I really enjoyed this FFXII fic, and on the re-read I'm still as happy with it as when I posted it. I don't even know that *anyone* has read it, though, because there are all of 0 comments on it. That, or Talent, because Talent amuses the heck out of me. ^.^;;;
Most fun to write: Toss up between Moogle Madness and Off the Wall. I had a blast with both of them. :)
Sexiest: As yet unrevealedprincesstutu fic. Although this comment is probably going to give it away, since I'm pretty sure I'm the only one writing smut for that challenge. (Yes, I'm writing Tutu pron. Again. O_o Why is it that I've written more pron for a show that's so anti-pron than for any other fandom I'm in? O_o)
"Holy crap, that's wrong even for you": Bargains, for sure. Because yeah. It worked so well with the prompt that I couldn't not write it, but at the same time, Mary / Yellow-Eyed Demon is just somewhere that no Supernatural fic should have gone.I still kinda like it, though.
Fic that Shifted My Own Perceptions of the Characters: Paying the Rent. No, seriously. I changed my mind on Yashiro's family half-way through, and nearly re-did the entire thing from scratch. I still might, we'll see.
Hardest to Do: Amputation. As cliche as it is to say, you really get out what you put into a story. For parts of this I was literally just shy of biting my nails (and I don't normally do that) trying to get the phrasing just right. Amputation made me nervous, to be honest, but I loved the concept, and in the end, I absolutely love the fic to bits.
Biggest Disappointment: Squabbling. It could have been brilliant. No, seriously. And I still like the concept enough that I might change it up and do it again to make it better. But to be honest? Even the title kinda sucks as it is now...
Biggest Surprise: The real shocker for me this year was Paying the Rent. It's not a pairing I would ever have jumped to without prompting - at least, not as a focal point for a story - but in the end it came out really well.
Most Telling: I think I'm going to have to go with the as yet unrevealed Princess Tutu fic, because it encapsulates a lot of what this year was about for me - writing one-shot stories, writing long and good one-shots when possible, writing for others / for challenges instead of just for the heck of it, learning to write smut. A good fic to culminate the year with.
Plans for 2008:
1) Work more on original fic. I've got bits and pieces everywhere that I need to start pulling together into more cohesive wholes.
2) Finish my owed fics! I say this every year, but I'm actually kinda close this time. Especially Dodge Roll. I will finish Dodge Roll in 2008 if it kills me.
3) Get to work on those old ideas that I've been wanting to write but just haven't found the time for; because procrastination sucks.

I think it was Ironman 7's fault - it makes it look like a lot more than it really is. And Definitely~!!!! Focusing on original stuff would be nice, too, if you're up for it~!!! ^_^ We should have a first meeting. When's good for a first meeting? Any day that isn't Monday to Friday works for me. (I know, I know, I'm so flexible! XDDD)
