Me too. ^_^ It just makes life happier to not be in OTP opposition. Which is not to say that I won't throw over my OTPs for crack!fic or alternate pairing every now and again, but on the whole, it makes me happy.
Romeo and Juliet is one of those plays that I feel like you can't think too much about. Then again, a lot of Shakespeare is that way. The more that you think about it, the less sense it makes, I think. Like Hamlet. XD Hamlet makes just this side of no sense at all, and yet it's the greatest thing ever written? (Please note: I adore Hamlet. That doesn't preclude mean from thinking it makes very little sense.) And I'm not sure if it's the different times, or the fact that Shakespeare only really needed to have great lines here and there to make it work, since few people actually paid attention the whole time anyway. People were willing to just believe that everything had worked out properly with a lot less explanation back then, 'cause they'd guess that they'd missed something amongst the shouting or while they were out grabbing a bite to eat. Television and shows have, oddly enough, become more logical as time moved forward.
