To get my fandom obsession rolling, here's snippet from my day... Today was my family's annual Christmas party, and all my relatives were gathered. At one point, I was seated on a couch next to my aunt and grandmother, cuddling my baby cousin Tyler in my arms. Suddenly, my head swung up and I glanced about wildly as I heard the words "Colonel Hughes" being batted about. My family knows nothing about anime - less than nothing. Still, my instinctive reaction to hearing about how his wife is a lovely person and how he was a good friend of my grandfather's is, "Yeah, Hughes rocks!" XD I ::heart:: Hughes. ^_^
